Creme Brulee Recipe

This Creme Brulee Recipe Is Sure To Become A Holiday Favorite

A popular dessert that dates back to the seventeenth century, you may find many versions of a creme brulee recipe online.

At Zinter Brown, our passion for gourmet food led to the creation of this gourmet creme brulee flavored with eggnog, and topped with our distinctive sweet red pepper jelly.

You'll have to make this creme brulee recipe several times so that you can experience the magnificent flavors of the Zinter Brown Peach Pepper Pot or Zinter Brown Orange Brandied Cranberries as well. So enticing, you may be looking for eggnog in the summer!

EggNog Creme Brulee

6 tbsp Zinter Brown Raspberry Pepper Pot

1/2 cup fresh raspberries

1/2 cup sugar

6 tbsp sugar (for caramelizing)

6 egg yolks

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup eggnog

Whisk yolks and 1/2 cup of sugar until light yellow. Add vanilla and eggnog. Continue whisking and slowly pour in cream. Divide Zinter Brown Raspberry Pepper Pot evenly into 6 ramekins and ladle cream mixture evenly over top of the pepper jelly. Place the ramekins into a baking dish and pour hot water half way up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake at 325F until set (approximately 40 minutes). Keep the ramekins in the water bath for 30 minutes then remove and refrigerate overnight.

Before serving, spread the rest of the sugar evenly on top of the creme brulee, until covered. Broil until golden and caramelized. Garnish with mint leaves and fresh raspberries (if using the Peach Pepper Pot, use fresh peaches; if using Brandied Cranberries, use this sauce in place of raspberries).
